Farewell July

I can't believe it's already August. This summer has flown by so fast! I remember being pregnant with Jacob and worrying about the upcoming summer and how I was going to do it with 4 kids. And now the summer is already almost over, Jacob is 4 months old, and I find myself a little sad! I'm just posting some "this and that's" from July. Nothing monumental. I just realized I hadn't posted for a while. I hope everyone is enjoying their summer!

Here are pics of the boys playing in the rain. I find when my kids do something that just might tick me off, I grab the camera instead of freaking out, and then I can see the humor and memories behind their choices.

Yes, they are actually laying in the gutter.

Bugs, Bugs, and More Bugs. That's one thing we get a whole lot of here during the summer, is some big freaky looking bugs. And having almost all boys around my house, they are constantly bringing in their award winning discoveries for their mother to see.

Pretty yucky huh?

Our house spider. He's been here all summer. (not inside the house)

One of the million secadas

An abandoned birds nest. We were actually outside looking at this nest when Darren pulled up from being deployed for the week. It was fun to be out there with my camera when he pulled up, cause I was able to catch pics of the kids hugging him!

Yoda, of course beat all the kids running to dad!

Lily took this picture! She did a pretty good job! ;)

My friend lives next door and she let all the neighborhood friends draw on the side of her house with chalk. I had to capture their art work before the rain washed it off! ;)

Our 2 favorite missionaries! Our kids L♥ve it when they come over!

And that's all folks! Nothing much, just the last half of our July! Happy August everyone!

I had to delete my prior post because I had a brain fart and didn't spell anything right.

You have some cute pictures and great memories in this post! I have to tell you though, we had a beetle/satan bug in here last night and it kept running around the floor and squeaking really loud. Everyone was in bed but me and Steve and I was so scared I wouldn't get off my chair! He caught it and put it outside but I am NOT exaggerating, it was the size of a mouse! GROSS!!

Robin, I left a comment on your beach-day blog, but thought you might not see it. You have a great gift with words and photos! Thanks for letting us be a part of your world.
I love your Mom, Steve and your brothers and their families. Sue is so great at remembering all her grandkids' special days.
