Here are pics of the boys playing in the rain. I find when my kids do something that just might tick me off, I grab the camera instead of freaking out, and then I can see the humor and memories behind their choices.
Yes, they are actually laying in the gutter.
Bugs, Bugs, and More Bugs. That's one thing we get a whole lot of here during the summer, is some big freaky looking bugs. And having almost all boys around my house, they are constantly bringing in their award winning discoveries for their mother to see.
Pretty yucky huh?
Our house spider. He's been here all summer. (not inside the house)
One of the million secadas
An abandoned birds nest. We were actually outside looking at this nest when Darren pulled up from being deployed for the week. It was fun to be out there with my camera when he pulled up, cause I was able to catch pics of the kids hugging him!
Yoda, of course beat all the kids running to dad!

I had to delete my prior post because I had a brain fart and didn't spell anything right.
You have some cute pictures and great memories in this post! I have to tell you though, we had a beetle/satan bug in here last night and it kept running around the floor and squeaking really loud. Everyone was in bed but me and Steve and I was so scared I wouldn't get off my chair! He caught it and put it outside but I am NOT exaggerating, it was the size of a mouse! GROSS!!
EWWWW!!!!! The bugs are like mutant size!! Shivers down the back, ewww. Besides that, super cute kids! I love the pictures of your husband coming home. It even brought a tear to my eye. What a cute family!!
Robin, I left a comment on your beach-day blog, but thought you might not see it. You have a great gift with words and photos! Thanks for letting us be a part of your world.
I love your Mom, Steve and your brothers and their families. Sue is so great at remembering all her grandkids' special days.
Love, Jen's Mom - aka "Grama Mission" way down south in Argentina
